Choice Awards vs Select Awards
I'd like to cash in on one of the Choice Awards (150k or 200K) as they seem the best value. But looking at the explanation online (see below) it says for Choice Awards, choose from 49 Marriott Locations. Is that ALL I can choose from, or can I also choose from the 375 Select locations as well?

Get the most out of your points with our Best Value Rewardsone-stop redemption opportunity for travel and lodging rewards. Use each component separately, or combine them for the ultimate vacation experience. Choose from 49 locations with a CHOICE PACKAGE.* Or use fewer points with a SELECT PACKAGE at more than 375 Marriott Hotels, Resorts and Suites and Renaissance Hotels, Resorts and Suites locations around the world.

The Choice package awards are valid at all hotels. If your hotel is in the US/Can/Mex, you can redeem for the Select package awards at 125/150,000 points.

Which award type to use - choice or select- depends entirely on where you intend to use the award. Select awards are good only at select0listed hotels, but require less points. For choice hotels you need choice rewards. The choice rewards can then be used at select-listed hotels as well.
Don't assume that choice hotels are always superior to select hotels. Much depends on popularity, size, etc. For instance, Marco island, Florida, is "choice", while Cairo, Egypt (a far better hotel/resort) is "select."

Thanks. I was worried that for some reason I'd be limited to 49 locations (based on the web info). Thank you for the clarification.
