Bizarre - Champagne Rception at 7am
I got to the lounge this morning at 7am, and I was offered a glass of champagne. 
I asked what the special occasion was, and was told that they will be doing it once a month.
I doubt it will catch on, as no one took them up on the offer in the 30 minutes or so I was there. It's generally people on business at that time.
This was the Regents Park Marriott by the way.

Drat - they weren't doing that when last I stayed there. I would have taken them up on it 
. Maybe they thought it would be nice to do, but didn't want guests wiping them out of their champagne supply by offering it in the evening

Those darn Europeans. They still aren't used to water being safe to drink so they resort back to safer fermented beverages.
