Transfer points or redemption options
All,
I'm looking to go on my honeymoon and I've got Marriott points but have recently noticed that Marriott has gotten rid of the option to buy an all-inclusive package. I'd love to go to a place like Bora Bora for the overwater rooms at a Hilton property or something like that. I don't have any Hilton points so is there a way to transfer points to Hilton or something like that? Can I exchange my points and get a Visa gift card or something like that to help pay for that? Anyone know of any suggestions on how I could do this?
Thanks for any advice in advance!

Congratulations on your marriage!! Transferring points can be very costly and for some hotel programs nearly impossible.
Additionally, we are missing a lot of information regarding what you want to do (How many days you want to stay, what status you hold with the chains, when you plan to go on your honeymoon). There is a dedicated forum called Coupon Connection where FTes can make trades of this kind, but you need to be a member for at least 6 months and have at least 180 posts here (from my experience the requirements are much higher..).
A possible solution with the least monetary cost for you would be to find someone with Free nights certificates from HH's Q4 promo (if your trip is in the next months) and trade them with Marriott Checks purchased at 135.000 MR pts per $1000 (if you hold status with MR). That way both parties would avoid any monetary cost, plus both the certificates and the checks are usable by anyone!
