miles for multiple reservations

So I am pretty certain of the answer but have not done it before and thought of asking the masters.

So I am participating in the Glad Slam, and I need to have hotel hits. I have an upcoming LNF rate in NYC Manhattan midtown marriott for $103 for 3 nights. Will I get 3 batches of miles for 3 separate nights?

If I break the res. in 3 separate reservations I would have to checkin, checkout every day. Marriott will see this as one stay, but would the mileage be submitted only once or three times at each checkout date?

I am thinking if separate reservations then 3 separate mileage credits, but not sure... thoughts?

If you break it into three separate reservations, it wil be three stays. Unless they have caveated that consecutive days are one stay.

Of course there is a chance the property will mess it up, BUT, one or more consecutive nights at the same property, regardless of the number of check ins/check outs, counts as one stay.

Now if you could change properties for the second night, going back to the first property for the third would get you 3 stays.

well marriott counts three separate reservations as one stay, per T&C.

That is why I do mattress run to get those Cat4 vouchers.
So question really is, are 3 separate reservations in the same hotel going to post miles separately or just one bunch of miles upon checkout? I know marriott's system will count this as ONE stay since it will count as one for the megabonus this fall. Thoughts?

I wish I could change the properties thought. next lowest LNF is $150 more.

if you are staying for 3 consecutive night but have 3 reservations MI's systems will view this as one 3 night stay even though you've checked in and out daily - miles will only post once with the correct number being awarded for all 3 nights

gotcha
good to know. So yes I am going to credit to US for their grand slam, and you are saying that even if I have reservations separately I would receive only one credit to US...

This is definitely good to know. Now off to find another hotel in NYC...
