Cool Pt Premier Gift

So I got this gift wrapped box from Marriott Rewards today and inside was my new Pt Premier credentials and a solar charger for iPod / iPhone / cell phone. It has an internal battery and charges off any USB port or you can use the sun to charge it and then charge your device off it.

Pretty nice.

My wife called me all giddy this week asking to open my nicely wrapped box that contained what she hoped was chocolates. Much to her disappointment, se called me back to say it WASN'T chocolate!! She never did tell me what was in the box though.

LOL. I'm still waiting for my box. I will call Marriott Rewards later to inquire about its location.

Same here but she said I could open it when I returned and she would share with me. I get back in 3 hours. Big surprise coming for her.

You might want to edit your post lest your wife find out you think her love of chocolate is making her wide.

Ok-home now with my wiFe and the charger. Can anyone tell me how to use it? It says "Before use, always charge the solar panel using the computer. Only then the solar panel (option A) can be used."

What I think it means is "Charge this puppy on the usb connection FIRST, then with the sun on subsequent charges".

Not sure...just wondered your take on it.

P.S. This is MUCH nicer then the spg plat waste of space photo book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Philly, that's how I interpreted it also. The instructions aren't the clearest but the device is awesome.

Glad you got the wiFe corrected, that could have been a real mess.

As for the SPG Plat photo book, my soon to be wiFe enjoyed it, and I enjoyed putting it together. Did you opt for the stock "here's our wonderful properties" version? If so, then WTH did you do that for?

I think the photo book is more of a treasure than the charger. The charger is more practical, and we'll see how it does on the beach in CUN with the iPod this coming week.
