I haven't tried, was merely giving my experience to the question asked. To clarify, 1) yes I've been able to get multiple meetings counted on the same day, 2) no I have not attempted to do so at the same location.

RafKa's question did not specify the same location so I didn't answer to that effect.

I'm currently doing multiple meeting on the same day at the same hotel. Each had a different contract, and each one is being charged to my card separately, so it seems positive so far. No nights have posted yet though, so we'll see.

(No idea why that shows up as two quotes, its just the post above mine though. Sorry!)

Update on my meeting status.

So far i completed all 8 meetings from 4th - 7th Aug. Now its just waiting for them to be posted. The various properties confirmed via email that they to do so between 7 - 10 days after the event. (With the exception of 1 property who took my money but refused crediting the points before i did not show up)

My next and main worry would be hoping they can be posted on or before 17th Aug. Who knows what could happen if gets posted after 18th!

Presuming the nights are needed to meet a legacy goal, you have until the end of the year for all that to come together. However, I suspect once they see the issue is on their side, they should be able to fix any delayed status changes. To be safe, I would suggest defer merging your accounts until it's straightened out.

I was worried how I would manage to keep Plat for the 6th year - now no longer. Thanks.

Well, you never asked.

If a property is really on the ball, the nights and points can post within one business day.

I posted over in this other thread about Rewarding Events and August 18th program merger, but the actual new Marriott Rewards combined program Terms and Conditions seem very clear that only the first meeting will earn 10 meetings per night and subsequent meetings will not. Since a couple of days ago LoyaltyLobby claims to have spoken to Marriott reps (a spokesperson) and have this explicit quote:

“If a member books on 8/10 and their event is 8/30 they will earn based on the post 8/18 T&C’s.”
I would make sure that you complete meetings for the purposes of racking up nights before the 18th.

To be clear: Read my other post here which excerpts the new Marriott Rewards detailed Terms and Conditions, and not the members.marriott.com page that we've debated back and forth for over a month now. You can still disagree on the interpretation of language, but it's a new piece of information.

The verbiage definitely indicates the first meeting will give 10 nights.

The verbiage I've seen definitely does not indicate anything of the sort. It's completely devoid of information which can be construed in myriad ways.

I had seen this blog post and agree with your assessment here but the quote is just that and not released new T&C.

Here is a copy of the new T&C. Make your own judgment.

Also see this finding in said new T&C on Rewarding Events made by @CJKatl.

I'll make a judgement when Marriott releases the T&Cs. I have no idea where this construct came from.

In an effort not to cross post, see https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/30071564-post45.html for the listed specifics of RE credit.

Appears no real change, other than number of guest rooms

Yes, the source may be suspect, but I don't see any reason to think it is a total fabrication. But taking that into account, it does appear the T&Cs are limiting the 10 night credit per contract. It's my contention this an effort to prevent someone booking a week long conference with multiple presentation rooms to demand 10 nights for each. And as has been posted, those that failed to secure separate contracts only received 10 nights. So it looks like this benefit continues as we have seen it in the past. :)

Hi, does anyone know if these nights are eligible for the 50 night and 75 night SNA / Gift option benefit?

Yes, they do count for reaching those goals. As do reward nights, CC nights, and just about any night that is not comp'd (aka casino gifted nights) has been my experience.

Awesome, thanks.

I am considering chasing this from scratch. Not sure if I can justify $800 USD. For the people who have chased this deal that don't usually have many nights, do you guys value the PP status at $800+ personally?

I am a personal traveller and do about 4 weeks a year of vacation (annual leave), and usually visit Asia.

Logically breakfast and lounge access would be $100+ per night normally?
