Help Finding Florida Oceanfront Deal For This Weekend
I need to be in Palm Beach this weekend and am holding a reservation at the West Palm FS for $116/night with an EEO and $25 Visa Gift Card/night, or $50 total for the two nights. My effective rate per night is $35. I'll happily stay here, as it's convenient for where I need to be...
But...
I'd like to stay at an oceanfront property if possible. I'm just not finding any great rates for this weekend at any of the oceanfront properties near Palm Beach. (Actually, the RC is only $179/night, but I'd rather get the points and nightly stay credit.) I'm finding good rates, but need a great rate to justify not staying at the WPFS.
Delray Beach FS is at $149/night and I think I can use an EEO, but I've neve warmed up to that property. (Not really on beach, rooms don't really have beach views.)
Anyone have any ideas for a deal north of FLL? Thanks in advance for any help.

E-breaks just came out for this weekend. Do a search on the area you are interested in and input promo code MEB to see if you have any luck (often, there are more locations than what comes out in the email).
It does sound like you have a great deal and will be hard pressed to beat it.

That sounds like a good deal....and I really liked that hotel when I was there....good food and service in the restaurant....and I think they actually processed the EEO correctly....

If you're willing to be 45 mins north then the Courtyard on Hutchinson Island has a lot of promo's going on... check out the MR page on marriott.com. It's straight shot up and down I-95 or US-1, not far at all.
Courtyard Hutchinson Island Oceanside/Jensen Beach
Ocean view rooms are as close as you can get to the ocean and it's a super quiet property.

Dont forget that the Delray Beach still has a promo going that gives you 5.000 MR points on top of your regular points. As a point aficionado i drove up from FLL for a 7 hour night stay last week... :0

Interesting. Didn't know that. I'll have to rethink this property. I just don't particularly like this property, though. It's not really oceanfront - like so many of the VA Beach CY/FI/SHS or the Carolina Beach CY, or the Miami Beach CY, Eden Roc, the Jacksonville CY or the Myrtle Beach FS - as much as it ocean kinda-near. And it's not much of a fun property, either. But the points do sweeten the pot, especially if they also take the EEO Certificate. Hmmm. Thanks for passing this on.
