This one dislike drives me bonkers!
For it is considerably slower (down right now) than the old one.

It is working for me now on IE, where it was not working on IE several hours ago, so I guess they fixed the problem, though it was always working for me on Firefox. Now that I can sign on using IE, I can see what you are saying about the new site design being slower than the old one. It is only slower for me using IE, but Firefox is MUCH FASTER! Try Firefox, you will like it, and it is free!

When I talked to my father this afternoon he said that he could get onto the site fine on my mother's laptop, whose main browser is Safari, but not his computers, where the main browser is IE. He said the cursor was flashing on the IE sites.

I hope the problem has been resolved for everyone.

I just tested the website using IE7 and it worked ok. I hope this means they have resolved the problem.

As previously noted in posts 8 and 23, and also back on Nov 18 in post 52 of the thread New Website. Some people just aren't prone to change. I do IT performance management and capacity planning for a living and from a resource utilization standpoint IE just plain sucks.

That was funny but the reason is clear to me as I do storage architecture work. Hardware vendors want to sell more hardware and IE as you stated uses more resources.
