Email?

I can't find an email contact on their website. Is it possible in this day and age they don't have one???

Shameful it's not on the contact page. Seems they can't bother.

Worth a suite night upgrade?

Have a stay at the Four Points Soho this upcoming Labor Day weekend-- For anyone that has stayed here... is it worth using one of my suite night upgrades for this property? They say they have suites and penthouse suites etc.

Also it's not clear from the website whether there's a club lounge, but other posts have indicated there is one on the 21st floor-- breakfast included for Plats?

Thanks!

Are you sure you were reading about the right hotel? You sound like you are talking about the Sheraton Tribeca.

The one mention of suites in this thread says that there are only two of them and that a plat will never see one on an upgrade. If the option comes up for the suite night upgrade then by all means try to get it via that route because the rooms are cosy.

There is no club lounge. The one mention of lounge in this thread said if that is what you are after then stay at one of the Sheratons, they didn't mean a Four Points by Sheraton. The lounge mentioned on the website sounds more like the restaurant/bar that is found at the hotel rather than a brand standard (tm) club lounge like you would find in a Sheraton.

If you do manage to get a suite please share your experience because I believe that you would be the first person to step foot in it.

Oh-- I might have missed the part where they were talking about the Sheraton Tribeca. Are there any amenities of note for Plats at the Four Points Soho?

I might try the suite night upgrade and if I do, will definitely report back.

Any recent stay report?

Thanks in advance

The front desk staff were all really friendly. My 24 hour check in was honored and my room was ready at 10AM as requested. They knew I was coming and had everything ready to go when I arrived. The rooms are standard NYC Four Points rooms. Got a room with a view of the new twin towers. Took the 250 points as the amenity. They participate in the make a green choice program. There is an Italian restaurant on site. There are 2 computers and a printer to print boarding passes and other docs. They have tokens for buy 1 beer get 1 free for those that drink. Overall it has been a nice stay so far.

F- internet

Very friendly people, but it seems like they're not investing in maintenance (shower head has brown spots, no investment in regularly deep-cleaning it) or in the internet, which was barely usable (the below is from wired connection; wireless was even worse and the signal didn't cover the entire room. Notice the almost 4 seconds ping: every request would hang for 4 seconds before anything happened; and the slow speed restricted all business communications to email and IM).

The lack of email address was also noted, as I tried to contact them for a request and was unable; I had to call the front desk and ask for the fax number (which is also not on the website!)

I am afraid that they may have entered a self-damaging "cost reduction" spiral to death; hopefully if that's the case they can pull themselves out of it. The property is only 4 years old!

I really liked this place. Nothing special but a decent hotel in a great area. High floor rooms have nice open views, I had a good empire state view.

Great hotel.

I just finished up a 4 night stay here. I have nothing but positive things to say. I have been staying here the past 4 years for work and must say, this hotel just keeps getting better. The company I work for is just a few blocks from here, so that is another huge plus. Their front office manager Patricia was awesome to deal with and helped make my stay perfect. The whole team here go out of there way to make sure you have a good stay.

The rooms are nice and clean. Modern amenities, good food in restaurant/room service, and great location. One of the best values in city.

I was upgraded to the penthouse suite for 2 of my 3 nights. It was awesome and had amazing views! I was able to watch the Ravens/Patriots game with my team which was awesome! Hero status!

Can you tell me if the penthouse suite has a pull out sofa as the description on the hotel website suggests? I'd like to get a place on the west side down in this neighborhood for a late spring visit w my family and the suite here is pricing cheaper than 2 rooms. I have 2 under 5 year olds, so I don't need much room for them, the single picture and the text on the hotel website describing an "inviting seating area includes a sleeper sofa and an easy chair, making it easy to accommodate friends, family, or colleagues" sounds like just what we're after...

For a question that specific I'd call the property. Odds are pretty high against someone here having stayed in that room seeing this and replying quickly

Of course now having posted this that very person will answer your question here shortly.

In closing, you're welcome! ;)

Anybody stay here recently and have any reviews? It's available for $135 (AAA rate) for a Sunday night in June.

Any updates?

Just stayed here on a BRG claim. Very similar to the other four points in NYC. Rooms were on the small side, but the bathrooms look newly renovated. Gym was small but not the worst I've been in. It is in a good location though, and one of my favorite restaurants is right next to it(Westville Hudson). Would stay here again if the price was low enough or got another BRG claim.

At check I was told that this property "doesn't do Your 24 requests since we're too small." I was shocked that any of the desk agents would just admit that they categorically don't even try to provide a stated SPG benefit.
