Hong Kong hotel rates are still an unknown as the city reopens and recovers, on that basis November is very far out. Presuming it is a cancellable rate that seems reasonable for normal Hong Kong rates, and you may find other offers closer to the time at both hotels. The hotel does have its own special offers mailing list you can sign up for if you want to see if there are specials (They often do flash sales, once a month, but typically only for 1-2 months ahead): https://www.facebook.com/WHongKong/ (Not entirely sure how I got onto the mailing list tbh, I think it was after a stay there)... likely not worth it for the minor savings if you're not a regular.
I would be more inclined to book three nights at RC or St Regis if there’s any stay three and pay for two deal. |
What's it like navigating to the hotel entrance from the MTR Airport express station?

Covered, but a 5-10 min walk through the Elements mall with clear signs along the way.

Thanks. got a pretty good points deal here (168K for 3 nights, booked into Spectacular room), so I'll give it a go
The 3hreesixty grocery store in the attached Elements mall is fantastic for picking up healthy (and unhealthy) snacks/etc, too. |

Have a three night stay coming up in two weeks. Will be traveling with my 13YO daughter, so we need two beds. Is there any suite rooms with two beds? I am thinking of using my suite upgrades.
I am also just one night away from Titanium, any difference in treatment? I could easily stay one night somewhere to make myself Titanium before the stay. Thanks. |

For Titanium benefits - be aware there are likely to be a lot of Gold/Platinum/Titanium and above in HK at any point in time due to plenty of business travellers coming to the city and some generous promotions in China on status. As such I wouldn't be expecting any upgrade beyond a water view, so personally I don't think it is worth a mattress run unless there is some wider benefit of you doing this. |

Even the Extreme WOW has only one bed (per the website too), however the hotel will do a roll-away bed, or one of you could sleep on the Sofa that is in the suites. Personally I'd ask for the roll-away, there will be plenty of room in the suite for that as long as it is bigger than the Fantastic.

The Marvelous suite (not sure if it is SNAable) is huge and well laid out / designed - I would think it would be perfect for 3 with a rollaway in the living room.

My comment about the upgrade could be misinterpreted, so to clarify I meant that expecting an ad-hoc upgrade on arrival for a 3 night stay is unlikely, beyond a basic room being changed to the next level up of one with an ocean view room (looking towards Lantau and over the nearby ships is realistic, not with a HK harbour view), SNA changes the logic, though still a fairly high chance of competition from other Bonvoy members. |

Agreed, during COVID I had to do a mandatory hotel quarantine in this suite with 3 adults and a small child for 7 days not being able to leave at any point. It was as pleasant as the situation could be. If this was an SNA'able night it would be excellent value/use, the views would be nice too - potentially even of Hong Kong island (I had one looking at the Ritz Carlton and HK island, plus the harbour).

It seems that the Fantastic suite is the standard suite, and the marvelous is much larger with better view and sells for couple of thousand dollars more. When using a SNA, would I be able to request certain suite type? |

I'd be in two minds about using an SNA at the W for a Fantastic suite, it would depend how you want to use it - the larger suites (Marvelous, WOW and Extreme WOW) are all pretty large and feel like full suites, and with HK hotel prices they will be going for many hundreds of USD more than a normal room they also have a couple of suites on each floor, so there is a reasonable chance you may get them, unlike say the StR that is quite short of suites, or the Ritz Carlton that has lots of suites, but you can't use an SNA). The larger suites will be good to bring over friends/extended family and have a dinner for example around the dining room table, or with room for children to play whilst adults talk. The Fantastic suite is more suitable for a small family sitting on the sofa and watching TV, and isn't going to be large enough to have over guests (maybe you could do 4 adults on the sofa if you sit fairly close, but all you can do is watch TV, and no real space for dinner except your laps). On that basis, it may not be a great use of an SNA, depends on your personal preference. |
ElevatorEnthusiast glad you made it this property! Was probably my favorite Marriott property pre-pandemic.
Amusing to read about the bathroom water issue, heh. That was my chief gripe. |
