Any recent stays or reports about this hotel? I may be staying there in the near future.

Been a while since I've been there (2011) but it sure was nice enough!

I stayed at the Marriott last year. The rooms are kind of tight, but they are nice, and I was very happy with the location, the free breakfast and the staff.

If I was looking for a downside, the one thing I can think of is that the Marriott is the only hotel I've ever stayed which had placards on the hallway walls stating "please be quiet after 9 PM." Trust me, they needed those signs.

This is the one next door to the Residence Inn, right? Across the street from the mall. I've also stayed at the Sheraton and Hilton (now Doubletree) down th street and would rate all 3 about equally.

This hotel definitely needs it. There are a tons of proms, weddings, events etc held "ever" day at this hotel. Besides sometimes being loud, it's a nice property that I recommend and it have a good concierge lounge.

Having lived in Pleasanton, to me the location is lousy, but they do have a shuttle to take folks downtown. Downtown Pleasanton is very pleasant. Excuse the pun, but it is one of the better towns to be in the Bay Area.

Haps is a really excellent steak/seafood restaurant with a superb wine list. The Steak Diane is sublime.

Stayed here over the weekend since it's one of the few Bay Area FS properties that's still at a Cat 5 for the certificates. Nice enough property (with a full desk in the room so plus on that!) - I guess I lucked out that there weren't tons of events going on the evening I stayed. They're in the process of building an M Club in the lobby, but it's still under construction. The Concierge Lounge has already been removed though (being converted into 3 guest rooms instead). In lieu of the lounge, I received a coupon for the full breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant.

Any recent updates?

Is M Lounge open full service? Thoughts?

I booked a stay on June 1 for June 6, but ultimately cancelled the same day (chose a different property). The cancellation deadline was June 5, so I shouldn’t have been charged, but the hotel charged me anyway on June 6. Now I have to call and complain to have them reverse the charge.

For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend this property.

Called few weeks ago (before booking) to verify if M CLUB lounge open. Was told full service including 5=7 pm snacks and hors d’oevres. NOT. Tea, coffee, soft drinks, found one bag potato chips. FD said still in lounge “soft open” and didn’t know when full service would return.

will Marriott lounges in USA ever return to service??? International functioning for Hilton, IC, and likely more.

visually nice property. Several things broken in my room. Parked on side of hotel and when I exited car stepped into a large pile of shattered glass. Luckily didn’t puncture my shoes and tires just missed it. Looked like a windshield rather than a bottle shattered. Still there following morning and walking to hotel I noticed same thing in second location. I told front desk. Curious if anyone else sees same.

not sure I would return. Lots of options in area.

town of Pleasanton very cute. poor food at (something) Chianti restaurant and walking up and down street most of food served on outdoor tables didn,t look great. Perhaps a nice area for a drink.

By some measures, the situation here has improved. The MClub is offering a bit more. Tonight, meatballs, potato chips, some chopped vegetables (zucchini, cucumber, red bell pepper). Canned drinks.

The fitness center is okay. 24 hours. LifeFitness ellipticals (2), treadmills (4), spin bikes (4), decent selection of weights. I (LT) got a high floor room not facing the freeway.
