I have had good, but not great stays here.

On my last stay, I believe that I was able to use the spa as a Plat.

Other than the fact that I get a good corp rate here, I only go to Vegas for business and thus can't deal with valet and checkout delays that I have experienced at the PH...so I stay here, where I can get in and out expeditiously.

I know that they have only a few true upgrades in this hotel, so I only anticipate an upgrade to the top floors rather than a suite...count my expectations managed. I have never had a negative check-in experience...though I do miss the old dice roll for starpoints!

For leisure travel, I would almost always choose the PH as I find the cheese somewhat charming for some reason.

I am proud to say that I have now booked away from this hotel for the first time of what will hopefully be many. I am happy to give Starwood my money at PH, since I have always been treated well there. Sorry Columbia Sussex, you lost a formerly loyal customer.

Cancel your reservation here while you can. Try the PH or any other hotel in Vegas.

I had such a horrible experience at check-in at the Westin Casuarina a couple weekends ago. Still have not received my platinum amenity points. I reported it to corporate at the beginning of this week and have yet to hear back from the hotel.

They seem to call you back a lot faster after you call SPG and complain a second time about the same problem.

When you called CCS, didn't they give you a reference number? In my experience they give the hotel three business days to respond. Give CCS a call back.

I guess I have been lucky. I never had a problem and would stay here again if the price is right. ^

The email I received from CCS did have a reference number, and they said the hotel has 5 business days to respond. The 5th day would be tomorrow. If I hear nothing by tomorrow, I'm definitely calling. Thanks guys.

If you don't hear back from the hotel, corporate customer service should contact you and reopen the file.

This hotel deserves a big

It's the 6th day, and still haven't received any response from the hotel.

If anything, I just want the amenity points that should have been credited upon check-in!

Then call customer service. There isn't anything any of us, lurkers excluded, can do.

The OP is simply trying to share with us the indifferent attitude the hotel staffs possess.

There isn't a lot of things any of us can do from the threads being posted.

Well, I just finished up a stay here. The lobby isn't big and the casino isn't that impressive, but it was clean and almost quiet, off week.

The staff that checked me in was very friendly and I asked if I could get an upgrade and they said I did. I was on the 17th floor, room was yawny, view of construction across the street. The room was clean and quiet and dark, my favorite.

One thing I thought was strange was the 8 or 10 dogs I saw. Seemed like several people had dogs in the hotel.

Amenity was a movie, which I watched and was not charged for. All in all, a basic stay without complaint. Nothing spectacular like when I stayed at PH and got an awesome upgrade.

I have always been a defender of this place but now they've pushed even me tto far. On my last stay, I had to print out a document, so I went down the the "business center", which is merely a noisy counter next to the chip cashing window. You're supposed to be able to hook up your laptop to be able to print - but this function wasn't working. So I copied my document on to a USB stcik and put it into their laptop. Not only did they charge me $1 for each printed page, they also charged me $5 for the use of their crappy laptop - unbeleivable

Do you really have to arm wrestle with them to have the fee removed? It seemed like from your experience, that you can just ask at check-in and it'll be done.
