It looks as if rooms have been refurbished in the last year or two. As is typical of budget hotel cabinetry and furniture it's not aging that well. Decor and room amenities seem to be consistent with U.S. 4P standards.
Ask for an odd-numbered room to face away from a flight path quite nearby. If you want plane spotting the even numbered rooms are good as is the restaurant patio which, regrettably, otherwise is strictly parking lot view. There is also an indoor pool and spa tub, plus an outdoor fenced sunning area. Rear parking lot view on that...
TV is lousy across several rooms. They don't even have all the local stations in HD digital.
The restaurant menu is very standard U.S. airport hotel but the bar serves quite late. Speedy wifi: 36 Mbps down and 10 up.
This is one of the very few Cat 1 redemptions left in the U.S.A. Maybe there's a lot of seasonality to the rates but current BAR would justify a category upgrade. It's definitely a points bargain compared to present rates.
