What are the current offers?
Is there a business version of this card?
Can I apply for this card and earn the bonus after doing so previously?
Once I meet the card's initial spending requirement, how soon will I receive my signup bonus points?
If I cancel my card after the annual free-night cert has posted, will I lose the cert?
See concurrent discussion in the wikis at

How long between cancel and Apply
Just recently cancelled my Marriot Visa (Coming up on Anuual fee date).
Has anyone who held the other card Applied for the new card and recieved the New card freebies?
If so, how long should I wait to apply (1 week, 1 month, 1year?)

I still hold the "old" card and received the cat. 1-4 certificate within a few days. Haven't seen the 15k points or the 15 nights yet.

Mr
I apologize. Since I sent this yesterday, I have had an update and you do receive 15 nights annually. I really am sorry. None of my information has shown this to be a yearly addition. But we have had some other inquiries and to my surprise, they finally updated me! Please accept my humble apology. I have been enlightened.

Either way I like the card - and the way it looks too. ^

It is definitely weird how I applied on 2/25, and as many received the notice of certificate, and delivery of the certificate before the card. I received the card and immediately made a purchase (3/1). As of this morning, no night credits and no 15k.
Man, you Michigan folks are getting special treatment, getting all the goodies in a matter of days...

The nights and the certs are indicated on my account, but I still haven't received the card or the paper certs.

UPDATE - Email I just received from Marriott.
Thank you for contacting Marriott Rewards. I have checked further since I was under the impression that the 15 nights was just part of the original bonus, but I have checked further, and this wording is correct.
I am happy to report that you will receive 15 nights EACH year as long as your account is in good standing. Thank you for bringing this to our attention so that we could get that cleared up for all involved.
If I can be of further service to you, please let me know.

Hmmm.. I'm wondering if those of us who were already in possession of the MR Visa are not getting the goodies (other than the free night cert) with the new premier card, while those who are receiving the MR premier as their first MR rewards card are getting all the benefits right away.
I've got the card, used it, and I've only received the free night cert with nothing else.
What about the rest of you?

To a certain extent I agree with you. As a recent former Marriott Signature Visa holder I received the Cat 4 certificate (originally shown online as Cat 5); the only other thing I expect is 15 nights credit sometime in the next 4-6 weeks as I applied for the Premier card a little over 2 weeks ago.

Can't upgrade my Visa signature card
I've gotten the runaround between the Indian and US Call centers, and every rep I've talked to says either they can't upgrade or I can't do it until after April.
Do I just keep calling until I get someone who knows how this works? They keep telling me that maybe it's by invitation only and that's why they can't?
Or I have the option of just applying online directly but then I end up with two MR cards that I'm paying fees for.
Is there some magic words that I can say to the MR Signature line rep to get them to help me upgrade to the Premier card??

BTW, fine print on the certificate says that the certificate is for a Marriott Rewards Standard award night. So booking it online should be no problem.
