multiple stays all incorrect points posted
Hello - wondering whats the best way to deal with incorrect points being posted - had multiple foreign property stays and all of the points posted were incorrect from as low as 15% of what it should be to 50% of what should have posted. How does one deal with this for Marriott?

Submit a missing stay request 10 days after the stay completed. Unfortunately this happens extremely frequently with foreign locations and the exchange rate. Its like they have the conversion backwards. In your message, state that you received the incorrect points for the stay, and that the conversion was 1 (local currently) = xxx USD and you are missing yyyy amount of points.
Same happened to me at a property in Barcelona several months ago - Stay was around 800Euro before taxes, but I only got credited on something like 700USD worth instead of ~920USD.

As rylan suggested, submit a missing stay from Marriott website https://www.marriott.com/loyalty/myA...StayRequest.mi
CSR usually asks you for folio and gets in touch with the hotel in a few business days and you will get a reference number. If it's not resolved in a few weeks, call Marriott general support and provide the reference number and the CSR should be able to manually add the missing points for you.

To submit the request you must submit the folio.
They will normally get back to you same day.
it might very well happen that they tell you by email that the stay was already credited. Just respond to the email they send you and say, „I know but the number of points is incorrect“. They read the emails more carefully than comments in the form.
