7) If you want a bigger lanai (not the small balcony where you have to sit sideways), be sure to pay attn when booking because they changed the naming conventions of the room. Also note that, since there are 3 wings with 2 sides each (6 sides total), only 2 of the sides have the larger lanai with the relaxing chairs -- and one of those is directly over the pool (a little louder). So - you may want to request for one that doesn't overlook the pool if you want the lounge chairs.
Came here to highlight this. Just got back from a 5 day stay here. Booked an Ocean Front Club Suite (with Club lounge access). EVERY single picture of the room's balcony online when booking the room, had the spacious balcony. Imagine our surprise when we got the small balcony. We didn't put 2+2 together until we had already unpacked, so didn't request to be moved. We ended up spending a lot of time in the Club Lounge (often we were the only 2 there) as capacity/booking was way down from cancellations due to the two storms that had just rolled through. The balcony thing has me a bit upset. When paying $2400/night for a room with an advertised balcony isn't right. Notified guest services and all I got was a "mahalo" for pointing out the pictures online of the room I booked didn't match the room I got. Someone from their "leadership team" would reach out to me. That was 6 days ago, and nothing.

All the front line staff we interacted with were great. All professional and friendly. Views were wonderful, and loved the view from the gym.

Ouch. Im sorry to hear that. We did the exact same thing where we unpacked and I only recognized the small lanai too late. But then again I checked the language of our room and it was consistent with what I got, but different from the pictures.

first time we stayed there we had the large balcony and it was amazing, but having the tiny little lanai with two uncomfy chairs was a bit disappointing - especially for what you pay. I hope you get something out of it.
