I stayed there in late June and it was not proactively offered.

Post #35 is good, but also pending your departure/arrival time you can plan ahead and see what your best options for the hotel are via Google maps - it will tell you the time of subway with walking distance etc factored in , for your anticipated arrival

Thank you. When you say "proactively," do you mean that you have to ask for it? But why would they when only Platinum and higher are supposed to receive breakfast? Does the Aloft next door offer breakfast to Gold too?

I didn't ask for it and was not given one.

Dollar for dollar, which is better, AC or Aloft? I have the AC booked for August. I'll be back in Tokyo in September. Can't decide whether to give the Aloft a try or go back to AC. I'm a Titanium Elite and I'll be departing from the hotel to HND if it helps.

I asked the exact question on reddit. The response was overwhelmingly AC.
ALOFT and AC are side by side (literally, they are side by side) so HND factor would have no bearing.
