Just completed phases 1 (2000 points/2 stays) and 2 (12,000 points, 5 stays). Last stay was a 1/13 checkout and posted today along with the bonus points.

Note to any Marriott lurkers here: the promo did not incentivize me in any way to travel more (too weak!) I just picked up the bonus for travel plans already made.

I would call the Hilton promotion generous only in comparison to Marriott's recent offerings. I'm really hoping Bonvoy steps it up this quarter, as I have a pretty busy travel schedule now through March.

It really depends on your stay patterns.

My promotion is already completed as well and the measly 17,000 points I earned didn't move the needle for me at all. I was going to stay at the properties I stayed at with or without this promo. Maybe to show Marriott how much I think their promos suck I should book away and start earning status in another program.

About to wrap up the stay 3 weekend nights promo for 18K points as well.

Confirming that a stay commencing before the end date of the promotion, but ending after it, did count: my stay Jan 13-16 did qualify and post correctly ( although for the 2,000 points...the stingiest return in living memory...I’m not dancing on tables/cracking the champagne in celebration)

Please don't complain about 17,000 points. There are many, many, of us who got a grand total of 4000 points for six stays. 2000 for the first two stays and 2000 for the next four stays. My needle didn't move so much it became rusty and disintegrated.

Hilton and ihg are way more rewarding. I only had point redemption stays during the promo period with Marriott. All my paid stays went to IHG and Hilton. I keep burning my points.

I had a total of 12k promo bonus points from three stays (8 nights), so I can't complain too much.

Well, in that regard it’s noted there’s no thread seeking speculation about the next promo. Maybe members are feeling underwhelmed by the prospect....

I don’t understand why with Marriott there are always weeks between promotions...does anyone know when a next promo is likely to start? Time for the speculation thread?!

Certainly, but no matter your stay patterns, Hilton’s promo and Marriott’s recent ones are not generous compared to those of a few years ago.

I speculate that we will be waiting a couple more weeks for an announcement that will disappoint most of us.

Chinese New Year ends around end of Feb. I wouldn’t expect anything until then.
