potential workaround posted by rhg247. Might work better for MAR properties than SPG properties.
"I found a workaround that does work. Use the app, flip to the My Account section, click Account Activity and Hotel Bills, select the one you want, then Hotel Bill. Once that pulls up you, click the share arrow and then you can email it to yourself."

Marriott is focusing all their resources on marketing and not basic website design and functionality... and definitely not customer service.

Sorry to be so dense, but I don't see the "hotel bill" option on the App. Are you on an iPhone, iPad or Android device?
I got the download on the website to work one day last week, but now it won't work again. I have spent so much time reconfiguring my browser to try and make it work <- looks like that was a waste of time.

As of right now, for me...
Website download link just redirects to page with all my past stays.
iPhone app does not have anything resembling a folio download option, just "stay again" as others have noted.
Android app does seem to have a promising-looking link with each stay, but returns an "unable to retrieve folio" error in some cases, or in most cases, just a red box at the top of the screen with nothing in it.
So, as has always been the case, I am unable to download folios.

When the redesigned Bonvoy site rolled out this week, I was able to download receipts successfully again from legacy MR properties. Legacy SPG properties still had the broken link where the page just refreshes.
I have tried multiple times, and through multiple channels, to get someone at Marriott to acknowledge that this was a sitewide issue, to no avail. Every time they just offered to contact the hotels to resend the receipts by email, or telling me I could do the same, which misses the entire point. I'll take the incremental progress, and hope that the issue just works itself out eventually. It seems that Marriott's document storage system is still partially disconnected from the front end website, but I've given up trying to communicate that to anyone who can escalate the issue to the right department.

They also "fixed" the bug of receipts downloading with the wrong logo as they now have no logos.

My Rebook Now's are all US properties. Re: improper logo, I wish that was the only issue they have. There's a corporately-owned SHS I sometimes stay at but posts on my credit cards as CY. That's always fun trying to get the accounting department to pay that one.

I was chatting w/ a FDC re: the issue & he said the properties are pretty frustrated too, that w/ Marriott's IT not pushing the emailed folios to the guests, that they're getting a lot of calls from guests saying they didn't get the folio & asking them to scan & email folios to the guests. In the past they had to do it occasionally, now it's frequent. That's slightly different to downloaded receipts, but shows that Marriott's IT isn't just screwing us up, but also the properties.
Cheers.

A few of my older stays show on the app, however, my newer stays at a JW or autograph collection do not. If I can access the folio on the iPhone App, I can also download it on the Marriott.com website. Otherwise - it won't.
mixed bag.

For recent stays within past few months, can download the folio. For earlier stays no luck. Emailing Marriott is useless. They asked for more information, and then said they would ask the hotel. No response. Called the hotel, spoke to front desk agent, got it within a minute.

Thanks for Staying! ===> Your Recent Stay ...
Used to get receipts emailed to me all the time, accurately via Thanks for Staying. Then things went dark for a long time. Was assured it would be fixed with merger.
Suddenly, started getting a few from sender named Your Recent Stay. Fine. I created a smart mailbox and it was easy to click once on it , find the receipt needed in a few seconds and forward to my assistant. Now that function appears to have taken a powder.
It's laborious to log into the web site, find receipts ( they aren't all downloadable ) , open them , save them via pdf, email them. a pain in the tookus.
Any word on why Your Recent Stay stopped sending folios? ( I am getting emailed from the various properties about 75% of time, but I have to search for each property, which takes some time)
Whining?

Bonvoy Never Gives Receipts
Dear FTers,
Would you all like to help me embark on a crusade to get Bonvoy to auto-send receipts to us? I haven't received a receipt from a Bonvoy property without begging for it for three years. Why do they want us to get up thirty minutes earlier and stand on a long line just for a piece of paper? I will post a template here and we can bombard Bonvoy mgmt with requests for this tree-saving method.
