cmhsieh54 in post #1965 suggests that if you have an upcoming stay and if the online system (i.e. website/app) loses your confirmation number, and your online/telephone correspondence with corporate hotlines get you nowhere, call the hotel directly and give them your name and check-in date. Chances are quite high they'll find the confirmation number on their end and they will add it back to your online profile. It's a 2-minute fix; and a better day when we all don't have to be troubled by 'bugs'.

(Below is Marriott's own guidance about this 'bugs' thread)

If you're here, you are obviously experiencing some issues with the web site. Our apologies for any inconvenience. We have an interest in giving you the best web experience possible, so here are some tips on how to get any problems resolved:

First of all, the web assistance team has this suggestion for you:

"We first suggest the normal steps of clearing their cache (temporary files) and cookies, logging out of their Marriott Bonvoy account online, then close all browser windows before trying again. Please note that clearing cookies may also remove any stored passwords in the browser.

It is important for them to log out to ensure no bad/old data is saved and so that the online account has a chance to refresh.

You may already be aware of this, but note that cache and cookies are 2 different things. The cache memory is what remembers old content for faster page loading and may cause errors after updates. Cookies are mostly only meant for tracking during the current session. Both can still remember old errors that may have existed in the browser."

You should also be aware that being on a VPN sometimes interferes with your browsing experience. Try browsing without being on a VPN and see if this fixes the issue.

If none of this resolves your issue(s), you can you can send an email to [email protected] along with any screenshots leading up to and including the error message.

It also helps if you include the following information in your email:

-What browser(s) have you tried? Is the issue happening over multiple browsers or just one?
-Are you using a desktop/laptop or a mobile device?
-If you are using mobile device does this issue persist when on a desktop/laptop?

Once we have this information, we can forward it on to the web assistance team for further review, so please be as complete as possible.

If you are having an issue with any of the Marriott Bonvoy apps, you can send the following information directly to the Marriott Bonvoy App team at [email protected]:

-What device and operating system are you using?
-What version of our app do you have installed?
-What is the problem you have encountered?

It's been three days now and I'm completely unable to view any of my recent activity or upcoming stay information on the SPG/Marriott apps on my iPhone and iPad, or on the website itself. Error messages abound. Any suggestions on what to do or other knowledge?

Trying not to get fazed by Marriott's continued IT ineptitude but wow...

Another issue is trying to book a hotel room anything after midnight. It refuses to recognize that people can get stranded somewhere at 12:01 am and would like to get some sleep somewhere besides the airport floor.

Fizzer you are correct. It did turn out to be a "feature" on Marriott.com that I had never noticed before. Gave me quite the scare, just like you, until I figured it out.

As I said I had quite a scare about needing to cancel non existent bookings. Just another asinine feature on a very unhelpful website overall.

Like everyone else, I haven’t been able to review my recent activity since October 22.

On the plus side, the last activity it shows is a 4-night stay worth 22,500 points that I did not book, stay, or pay for.

So I’d say that’s a wash. Dear Marriott, I will take Ambassador status next. Love, me.

I both have and don't have recent activity showing
No account activity posted for the past 30 days

Minor annoyance but is it just me? On the login page, focus isn't initially set to the email/member number field, I have to click it multiple times to get focus, and then tab doesn't go to the Password field unless I tab 3 times (one of which goes back through the ID field).

These are web page 101.

I have had the "no activity" note every single day since I merged my accounts in August despite stays every month since then.

When I go to the reservations tab I see "Unfortunately there's an issue displaying some of your reservations. Please check back later. We apologize for any inconvenience." and have seen this message every day I have been on the site since the August merger. I see all the reservations that I believe should be there, but who knows?

When I go to the overview page I see a similar "Unfortunately" message.

Favorites, promotions and profile do not show error messages.

i have the same exact problem. My total points and nights increases but I cannot see the activity. I created an excel spreadsheet to keep track. It’s pretty nuts to have to do this but my ambassador said this may not be fixed until 2019!!!

Yeah, it is nuts. I wonder if everyone were to request a printout of their activity from the internal systems (i.e. via a CSR), if the added load will help them get more resources to fix the customer-facing systems? I'm not suggesting we all call on the same day or even the same week, but if their call load goes up for requests that the website should be able to supply, they may get a hint it's important to the members and could reduce calls.

All indications are that you would be very strongly optimistic if you believed that Marriott is live categorising call volumes by individual problem. Call centres with that kind of disciple frankly do not deliver the unreliable and inconsistent service that we’re seeing from Marriott.

Yup, it's down now. Can't sign in or even make a reservation ("This service is temporarily unavailable. But don't worry, we're on it. Please try again later.")

Update: I actually made it through to Platinum Concierge in 7 minutes. However, they're down too. Womp womp. I guess Arne doesn't want my money today.
