Huge thanks to Horace for this list (which is much simpler to understand than Marriott's T&Cs!)

Elite benefits (breakfast, upgrade) at DESIGN HOTELS?
I was wondering about what benefits one can expect when redeeming for stays at the various DESIGN HOTELS as a Titanium member.
I can't find any proper listing about the services they have to provide. Can I select free breakfast? Since Marriott took over Design Hotels this should apply or am I wrong?
Looking to stay at the two Phuket properties The Naka & Flora.

Can't use SNAs, no breakfast, no lounge access. You get 1000 points and might get an upgrade.

Back to my original recommendation, I’d stay elsewhere.

Might just as well spring for Banyan Tree or Amanpuri. I was first banking on SLH being available but none of them has availability via Hyatt either.

My understanding of the Design Hotels brand is to think of it as a limited partnership - that they are mostly independent hotels that can be booked via Marriott (formerly Starwood) booking channels and guests would receive points for staying and as a welcome gift, but that’s pretty much the extent of any guaranteed elite benefits. (Unlike the Luxury and Autograph collections, which are boutique hotels that usually include most of the elite benefits).

I assume the issue you are referring to is what was discussed in this thread:

But, be careful. Some properties include breakfast with all cash rates, but not with award stays.
