I haven't stayed at very many Four Points, but for benefits alone, I'd have to nominate Hakodate and Seminyak.

Haven't stayed there for a few years, but Hangzhou Bintang was wonderful when it
first opened ( included lounge access/offerings the first year or two) and I always had
a wonderful large suite.

The four points in Curitiba, Brazil is hands down the best four points I've stayed at. Very new construction, nice rooms and fixtures, great breakfast spread. Better than 90% of the Sheratons I've stayed at. Of course it helped that it was also the nicest hotel in the entire city...

It's walkable in about ten minutes. There's very little immediately around the hotel - a few local eating places - but Futian Checkpoint is also walkable if you're heading to HK. If you're in China then you should have Didi on your phone which is cheap and convenient and can get you into the Coco Park area in a few minutes for peanuts.

The Four Points is considerably cheaper than the Sheraton or Westin which are both in better locations but aside from being able to walk out into actual shops there's little other benefit given that the FP has lounge drinks in the evening and a separate restaurant on a high floor for Platinum breakfast to keep you away from the scrum in the main breakfast restaurant.

That’s right! It’s weird that the FP is the best hotel in one of the country’s largest and wealthiest cities...

Yes - it was widely considered one of the worst *wood properties in the entire system.

It became an Aloft a few years ago and they did a good job on the remodel. Not a bad place at all, now.

Don't know what it's like now, but the Four Points Lhasa was fantastic in 2008!
Huge suite and great breakfast.

Two US properties I would stay at again and would consider the best of the bunch:

Four Points by Sheraton Midtown Times Square NYC
Four Points by Sheraton Bentonville Arkansas

Wow really? I was so unimpressed by the Downtown Four Points. Is the Times Square location actually good?

Good? If you want to be near TS then IMHO it is a decent location if you don't mind looking at the bus terminal if you get a room at the front of the hotel.

To clarify...this is by no means a great hotel or my first choice of SPG properties in NYC BUT it can be a decent option depending on the price you get. This thread was about the best 4 Pts. and IMHO it is one of the best I have stayed in...if that's saying much.

I guess for me an "average" stay at a Four Points in then considered among the best.

Not a huge Four Points by Sheraton fan but I have had nice experiences at the ones in Bogota and SEA. Worst I’ve staid at is the one at ORD... gross.

The Four Points Penghu is simply the nicest Four Points ever created. It has an infinity pool, beautiful lobby, amazing buffet, and the toiletries are high end (L'occitane). I was lucky enough get a studio suite so we even had a soaking tub and a King and Queen bed in the room. This should really be a Westin or Luxury Collection hotel.

I am a fan of the Four Points in Knoxville, TN. Short walk to Market Square downtown and some great restaurants. Great location for the University of Tennessee and the Tennessee Valley Authority, too. Partly owned by Peyton Manning and has some nice suites overlooking Worlds Fair Park (1982). It also has a solid breakfast to go with its 4.3 star rating. I much prefer FP to Alofts.
