Marriott Fullerton update:
I stayed there last night, as a Marriott Plat, and upon arrival they said the lounge is closed all this week for the holiday. They gave me not only the breakfast voucher (good for full buffet, despite saying "continental" on the voucher), but also two $10 credit vouchers for dinner (to make up for it being a Monday night when the lounge would be serving food in the early evening if open).
The lounge itself was still openable with my key, but was only stocked with bottled water and a few other beverages in the fridge, and some fruit in a bowl. There is no coffee available in the lounge when it's closed (I get the impression the only stuff available is stuff that can be restocked at any time of day).

11/17 update. Lounge closed on weekend but there is an "express" lounge right next to front desk. There are bottled water and coffee machine in the lounge. I also received full breakfast, as platinum. Not sure if the same goes true for gold.

No lounge, voucher for $10 hotel credit given per day towards breakfast or Hotel bar for platinum members, we did not eat the breakfast or see what was available or the cost.

12/17 update to Michigan / Livonia / Detroit Marriott Livonia
At weekends and holidays, platinums have a choice between 750 points or a blue coupon for $13 in food and beverage from the restaurant (including room service) and an orange coupon for a breakfast buffet.

12/17/17 Update for New Orleans, LA / JW Marriott
Posted information is correct regarding weekend openings for breakfast.
However, the Executive Lounge also appears to be 24-hour Key Accessible for soft drinks and coffee (espresso machine), not to mention the pool table + board games on 2nd level.

Weekends: Concierge lounge is accessible 24 hours a day for water, soft drinks, milk, and snacks (whole fruit, bags of chips/pretzels, breakfast bars, little boxes of cereal) and of course to hang out.
Probably no change on the continental breakfast in the restaurant, but this weekend (Dec 23-24) there was no buffet and so anything could be ordered from the menu.

Washington DC/Courtyard Convention Center
Recently noted that the last update on this was from Feb 2015, so I stopped in while I was in DC last week (stayed at the Marquis) and asked about the lounge. FDC told me they no longer had one.
