Management has waived daily resort fee on both of my last stays, including one that ended today. My colleagues also had them waived after we pointed out that the substantive things it included were supposed to be complimentary by virtue of our elite status (wireless internet access and telephone calls). Hotel also waives the $99 extended 6 p.m. checkout for platinum premiers.

Just stayed in the Durham / Marriott City Center. They have one of the new M Lounges which was open 24 hours but only had snacks (chex mix, etc.) and water/coffee on non-breakfast hours during my stay (Friday through Sunday).

* Burlington / Boston Marriott Burlington / CLOSED; Full Buffet in restaurant for two guests; Accurate as of 7/28/18. When I asked nicely at check-in, I was given full breakfast for my whole family (3 people).

Bumping this one to clarify that there is no breakfast benefit in their restaurant - not even Continental (with upcharge for hot items). The pastries, yogurt and instant oatmeal in their executive pantry IS the elite breakfast offering.
