Nahm is quite nice and is not far with great views at sunset. Authentic Thai and Koh Samui is a bit of an oxymoron considering most restaurants exists to meet the demands of tourists.

Thanks EuropeanPete!!!
David Thompson...Isn't he Long Chim??? Not sure how I feel about eating Long Chim food in Thailand itself!

Same chef, but Long Dtai is specifically southern food of the kind I doubt he serves in Sydney. The restaurant is good if you want to try things like a local sour fish curry, which you’re not going to often find in the usual tourist friendly restaurants.

My favourite two Thai options on Samui are Supattra (sort of high end refined Thai, with a good wine selection) which is relatively close, or Haad Bang Po which is a bit of a drive near the Four Seasons but completely authentic Koh Samui Thai served on the beach.

You’re also quite close to Long Dtai at Cape Fahn - authentic southern food from David Thompson in a pretty stunning setting.

Having stayed at Cape Fahn, I can vouch for all the food from Long D'Tai to breakfast to room service all being spectacular as it all comes from a single kitchen.

Hello everyone

Just returned after staying 4 nights, had a good time

Hard product: Low seasons - was upgraded to a pool villa with ocean views. Nice room, with reasonable interiors. Pool area was nice. Don't expect Maldives/Bora bora beaches here, they are subpar at the best. Water in Thailand is so-so, but I come from Australia where the water is great.
Soft product: Butler service was pleasant but hit and miss, sometimes the butler would forget things or misbook, which was a little annoying but nothing that couldn't be rectified by myself with a phone call.
Food: Saturday nights there is the night market style Thai buffet which was lots of fun, some traditional dancing as well, thoroughly enjoyed it. We also did the Monday night Mookata grill/barbeque still buffet which I wouldn't so again, nothing special. Breakfast was a pretty good spread. We also ate at Pak Tai, the southern Thai restaurant and loved it, lots to try on the menu.
Location: We booked airport transfers separately through Mr Samui who we recommend. Buggy takes you anywhere around the resort. There is a free shuttle bus 3 times a day to the shopping mall in Chaweng. You could feasibly walk to the nearest convenience store within 20-30 minutes if you requested a buggy to the entrance.

We used Virtuoso and had the resort credit applied at the end with ease.

Enjoyed the stay. Would maybe return, not in a hurry, maybe for a relaxing vacation but I would probably rather go to the Maldives for the price range tbh.

Can answer questions!

Prices at the hotel

Can anyone give me a ballpark at how much drinks and at the pool are, and how much the dining experiences are?

Anyone have an up to date email for this property?

I have tried the email address above [email protected] and it just bounces, there are no email addresses at the web site either.

I am trying to get a few questions answered prior to making a booking but it seems difficult to get any contact details.

Thanks I ultimately got responses but not the real clarification of the "All Inclusive" rate I was seeking. Am now quite likely to book elsewhere.
