Looks pretty stylish. I am so far digging the Element brand (only experience thus far is a long(ish)-term stay at the Doral (MIA), FL location. According to the listing on my room key, the only other Asia property is Suzhou, CN.

SPG Handling of Hotel Opening Delay
Hey guys,
I've booked into a property that was initially planned to open in April but just notice it has been extended to June.
I have a total of 2 reservations for 2 rooms that I need:
1) Points + Cash for 1 night
2) Flexi Rate for 2 nights
To date I did not receive any notification on the delay, how will SPG normally accommodate such cases of hotel opening delays? No idea what to expect. Currently SPG Plat.
Cheers

What hotel? Are there Starwoods nearby, or perhaps other hotels with the same ownership?

No official updates nor announcement about this yet but I am sure they would be happy to refund for any prepaid rate.

This isn't an SPG problem. The responsibility rests with the property - it holds your booking.

Looking forward to stay on opening day, and good they have changed their dates from 1 Aug to earlier 15 Jun as if 1 Aug, it will clash with Sheraton PJ opening date but most probably postpone, knowingly hotels too optimistic on opening early but in actual fact still not ready like Le Meridien Putrajaya on postponing number of times but on opening day still struggle to have a number of services up, most probably getting the right staff to manage hotel as was being told they borrowed a number of staff from Four Points Puchong which is why not up to Le Meridien standards.
