Especially William deserves a holiday. I happen to know it was planned long before the merger date was determined. Hopefully he will return rested and restored, ready to tackle dragons again on behalf for FlyerTalkers.

More importantly, what will his future FT username be? Marriott Lurker? Marriott Champion? Father of Dragons?

I really hope Marriott Management knows that part of the reason for SPG customers' loyalty is the Lurker Team. However, given how Marriott has handled FT since the EEO weekend BOGO issue years ago and the silence during this critical time with all these problems, I am really concerned with what will happen to the Lurker Team.

(un)Happy Reading. Search for Marriott Concierge to see when their participation dropped off to about nothing. All I've seen lately have been drive-by posts, no real participation. With luck the Lurkers will remain here. It's almost pointless to post issues if there is no one that can actually do something. Learning others have the same problem has limited comfort.

What happened to Lurker II based in Singapore? I haven't seen him around here recently either.

No worries. I had a very nice 19 days in Scotland and 2 in Dublin. Wish I had brought the weather back to Texas. lol
Then there were the over 2,000 emails in my Inbox.

But, to answer your question, you're the first Lurker to at least let us know that all of the issues that us FTers have reported have indeed been forwarded to the appropriate places. Unless I missed something (and I'll admit I might've with a few hundred -thousand?- posts across multiple threads), all we'd been told is there are still some issues but not whether the issues we were reporting are included in those issues.
Rest assured that they have been - every day since the merger began.

Still would love some sort of timeline from Marriott...we are 11 days in...and there are still lots of issues. I can't be the only one actively moving stays from Marriott in the interim because of both account issues and issues with status showing up appropriately at hotels.
It's unfortunate, but understandable, I suppose. RE: a time-line to full recovery; that seems doubtful. But, if we learn of anything specific that remains open-ended being resolved, we'll be glad to give an update. Otherwise, you are probably going to find out before we do.

Back on topic...
I am out of the office beginning immediately and will not return until 11:30 AM US Eastern time on Monday, November 26th.
If you have an urgent issue, you may want to contact another member of the Social Media team at [email protected]. Please note: I have temporarily disabled Private Messages here at Flyertalk, but you can still communicate with Starwood Lurker III and/or Starwood Lurker IV via Private Mail in my absence.
If I am working on something on your behalf and have not yet contacted you to follow up, I am probably still waiting to hear something regarding your issue(s). The answer may or may not be forthcoming while I am away, so feel free to send me a reminder upon my return.
Best regards,
