Venice - Boscolo Venezia provides continental buffet breakfast to MR Gold and Platinum members. There is also one included hot dish provided on a made to order basis from a special menu. This is the same breakfast sold to guests. Rates at this hotel rarely include breakfast otherwise. I will post a review in the hotel specific thread later. No lounge.

Just completed a stay at the Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens in GA. There is no lounge, but we were given 2 coupons each day for the full breakfast buffet. I asked just to verify that the policy didn't change from weekday to weekend, and I was told that plats receive 2 breakfast coupons per day 7 days a week.

Am currently at the Algonquin. Will post my complete trip report later, but I can report that the Concierge Lounge isn't open in the evening - at all. It is open in the morning for breakfast from 7-10 am. They have reinstated the free welcome cocktail coupon, however.
I am checking out tomorrow, but will try to get info on whether they offer free breakfast on the weekend for elites.

I asked specifically when I checked out, and no breakfast on the weekend. On the bright side, I had probably my easiest experience using gift cards - very quick and efficient, not even using multiple cards phased her.

Hotel Icon, Houston, TX - no lounge, nice gym, free "continental breakfast" (i.e. $12 breakfast voucher, can be used for anything else)
Carlton Hotel, New York - no lounge, bad gym, free continental breakfast (also a voucher that can be applied to more expensive breakfast items)

On a dif note. A couple of years ago when I was at the Algonquin for a quick overnight stay (arriving at 5pm; heading out the door at 6pm; getting back at midnight & out the door at 9am) I wanted to pay for the stay w/ gift cards, but wanted to pay for the room at check-in & not have a hold put against my cc due to the short time I was there & because I was using the gift cards.
They managed to process the 2 gift cards I had without too much trouble, but then put a hold for the room + incidentals on my cc on file anyway! I was pretty cranky about that, and talked to the manager about it. She really came through & had the hold reversed/taken off the cc. The rest of the staff was also very pleasant.

Minneapolis / The Hotel Minneapolis, Autograph Collection
Stayed a Saturday night. We stayed on the Concierge level, though the Concierge room wasn't staffed, but was open. They only had soft drinks and fruit available.
It was nice enough and would consider another stay.
