I had that happen as well.

Instead of usps.com, try pasting the so-called USPS tracking number that they give you into the DHL.com tracking screen, and you should get a hit there.
That's what I did, and it worked.
DHL delivers the package from its origin to your local post office, and the USPS takes over from there.

My tracking number from the July 4 shipment doesn't work on the DHL site. I get an error message.

Got mine as well. Guess I'll start putting a couple in my pocket each morning and try not to come home with them. Wonder what kind of looks I'll get if I give one to a homeless person?

I used one on an SF Muni bus yesterday and it didn't register immediately when I dropped it in the coin slot. The driver had to pull some lever on the back side for it to come up as $1. Are they interchangeable with other $1 coins of the past? I thought they were.

Same here. I got mine yesterday. They will be used for tipping. Also I am headed for Vegas in 2 weeks. Do the dollar slots take them?

Well, my status changed from "backordered" with a sliding ship date to "in stock and reserved". Still no charge on my CC, and I don't know how long it takes to actually change status to "ship" and get to me. Ha ha, it'll probably be delivered the day after I go out of town on vacation!

Right now, mine's scheduled to be shipped the day I return from vacation, so I don't (currently) have that worry . . .

so far i've gotten very few comments when using them. if anyone says anything, it's usually to comment on how shiny they are

Maybe in the US people will start throwing these at strippers like people do with loonies here.
I don't think this program is good for strippers at all.

Must have been a one time thing as they worked fine twice yesterday.
