Could you please elaborate what you mean?

So far, I found that when the clerk said that he/she can't "find" VISA/MasterCard, it is because he/she does not know what to do or does not feel comfortable to do rather than because of the system.

My order won't go through with my Chase SW card. I just set the CA limit to $0 so I'm wondering if that is why. I tried with United Explorer card and didn't work either. Anyone have any advice. I signed up as the parent and the teen.

Thanks. I wonder why the limits would be different at the WMMC than at a POS terminal.

Is anyone else finding that contra the terms and conditions you're only allowed 1, $1k load daily? After that I get "maximum reload attempts reached," and fiddling with the amount doesn't seem to help. Not a big deal but interesting that the T&C's are inaccurate/outdated.

I have noticed that failed loads count for your attempts

POS cash back is always treated as cash access (ala ATM cash access or Over The Counter cash advance at bank) vs regular purchase. That's why you hit $60/week cash withdrawal limit and was denied even if you did POS debit transaction. I bet your transaction would succeed if cash requested be less or equal $60 or no cash back at all.

This is also to illustrate approach to fool the card issuer with small purchases with max cash back. It's all transparent...

At WM one does PURCHASE, not specifically requesting cash back (but could, knowing the card's cash access limits).

TD Go card work for USPS MO? If no one knows, I just ordered one so I'll post results in a week or so.

Can anyone confirm whether or not Chase SW card posts as CA for TD Go?

ctbarron Jan 28, 2014 10:53 am

Didn't see this, so I apologize if this is a repeat.

BofA does not post as a CA on The TD Go card.

I have not been able to get my chase freedom card work on funding loads either for some of my Visa Buxx cards. The other option is to buy $500 MC GC at a grocery store (2% CB or higher to make a profit) and then load it as a funding source. It works for both NW and USBank Visa Buxx. Don't have a TD card.

Hi everyone,

I just got back from WM where i wanted to load my BB with the TD GO. Card was declined the first time. Tried again and the same result. I called the 855 number to check what is going on and found out that my account has been closed. I have not talked to a live person yet.

I had applied for the card last week and received it on Saturday. This was my first use.
At this point i do not know what triggered it. I hope its not a sign of things to come.

YMMV. It worked for one account and did not work for my second account.

For the first BB account, it locked use after 3 loads online. I had to call them up (it happened to be on a Holiday), so they asked me to fax my DL and copy of my statement, which I did. Then they allowed me to use my NW Buxx card and I have not had a problem since.

For my second account, when I called up, they did a 3 way call, talked to NW Buxx and then found out it was a prepaid card and removed it from my account. So if you are ok with faxing a copy of your DL and statement, you might be able to load online.

^ It does not count towards the $5000 cash load limit, so I can now load $6000 per month on my BB card.

anyone having issues loading BB with buxx cards in WM? it was declined twice for me.

sgideons Jan 29, 2014 5:49 pm

Just had TD rejected at WM for $19xx. Called and was immediately connected to a CSR who said that the limits "recently changed" and there's now a $1k transaction limit. He claimed that I could swipe the card once for $1k and once for the balance. About to walk back over to MC to try that.

Update: $1k failed at Walmart. $980 worked on Evolve Money.
Hypothesis: $2k transaction limit isn't daily, but over some other timespan. Possibly 7-day a la NW Buxx.
