I acquired another NW Buxx card. I'm happy I got it from my "friend." I activated it and set up the PIN over the phone just like last time.

I tried to buy a MO at the MC and it failed with "incorrect PIN" error. Used another Buxx and it worked fine.

Went home and the money is still there on the NW. I'm hesitant to draw attention to myself by calling NW. I'm going to try Kate and the bird upon the change of calendar, which should be very shortly.

I've never had problems with NWbuxx for MOs at MC. Maybe you set the PIN wrong?

Does anyone know which buxx card allows cashback at the register? I've looked through some old posts, but couldn't find the answer.

I had a similar problem problems. One failure was because an additional load would take me over the $2,000 limit (I was trying to load with $1,509 on the card. Also, I know there is a 5k per card limit per month - and maybe a 10k limit across all cards? Lastly, I've read that there is a limit to how many cards can be used in certain time frames. Its something like 3 in a week. 4 in a month etc.

All these odd limits are kinda a pain to keep track of.

I have never had problems either, but I can never go over $200 so that may be OP's issue. Just do multiple $200 MO's at a time.

For NW there is an $800 weekly limit. I generally just do $800 a month in wm bp.

Edited: NVM. I didn't see "bp" at the end. This is a great idea in comparison to MO's.

Is Walmart Billpay MC/Visa only? Anyone try an Amex w. PIN (BB, Serve, Pre-Paid etc)?

BB and Serve both have free bp online, so I'm not sure of any advantage of using them to pay for bp at wm. Amex pre-paid is restricted to ATM withdrawls. Amex GCs don't have pins and can't be used. I don't know about others like Amex for target.

To everyone who posted a negative comment about me: I have removed my previous comment with the sensitive information at your request. Believe it or not, I have a life outside of miles and points (a big one with my children, family & friends) and don't keep up on every deal and every prepaid product available to man. I was given the information from a reader and doing my homework for myself. Being the kind of person I am, I wanted to share that information to help others as is always my intention. Having not read the thread cover to cover, I wasn't aware of all the details of this product. I find it so sad that some of you are such selfish people. Your comments are the main reason I rarely ever comment in FT forums. I read all the time but rarely comment because of the bashing that goes on. I bet none of you would ever walk up to me in person and say the things you do online. It's just plain sad. My site might not help you but it has helped many average people travel when they never imaged it was possible for them. I help people everyday and share anything I know. I will continue to do so and I do use discretion more than other bloggers. I don't post half of the stuff I know about and use myself. Anyway, just think about how someone shared with you and how you learn what you know and maybe think about giving back. Remember we are all just "real" people typing behind these keyboards.

I'm a bit leery of paying the same credit card bill with BB and Serve. Using either BB or Serve through Walmart BP would avoid that.

If this is public information you shouldn't feel pressured to remove or restrict your comments. If it's private information that you made public, then that's another story.

You are very correct. The link I posted is very public information and nothing private about it. This is a public forum but even in this environment, I never do anything to intentionally upset people and I've shown my spirit of kindness to the requests made of me. Too bad others aren't so kind. :(
