Another DP: I gave 1 vanilla VGC with 8/32 exp to a relative of mine for normal use last week. They haven't used it yet so far. So, i casually checked status online - system error. Checked over phone, no balance info message and connected straight to CS. They told card has issue and sending a replacement. This card has not been used at all and was not part of a multi purchase from same merchant.

Tried 3 cards today at a different WM all declined. (Debit Not Available. Code 12)
Also I tried the cards online and all 4 worked.
Ordering replacements now.

Does the velocity limit prohibit you from doing a 1K load or 1K MO using 2 X 500VGC? It would for sure? Therefore it may be prudent to do one at a time and pause for a while before doing another. can someone provide feedback on this, if they tried this already.

After the mess before Christmas, I have been successful doing a $999 MO with two cards this week. However, the discrepancy came with the immediate swipe of a third card.

Well, two different WMs and three different codes: 51, 05, 12.
I checked them before using and all had been bought over 24 hours ago. All SS cards and all showing correct balance. On the way out I bought some grocery items and used one of the declined cards at checkout and it went through no issues.
I tried to buy a MO and then separately tried to load a Discover at another WM and all fails.
I do have a grocery store I can use to liquidate but its a hit or miss depending on the CS people.
If others are having no issues I wonder if this is being rolled out regionally.

My last two replacement cards arrived today. Back to WM, and no issues swiping two for a $999 MO. Then loaded $500 to my Discover with an additional card I purchased 90 minutes earlier. I tried loading a fourth card to Discover at the same POS, but it failed (debit not available).

I buy 2 cards at WM at a time so naturally my cards are $490. I havent had any decline issues since I started taking its slow. $1 spend after an hour. Wait 12-24hrs. Drain $488 but leave $1 on card. Spend $1 on utility bill or whatever. Not ideal, but I’ll take it over the embarrassment and the anxiety of dealing with declines/locked card.
