Visa Buxx(2017)

For the past roughly three weeks, I've been trying to load but always get the same error message after clicking Submit to the load:
System Error. An unknown error occurred. Please try again later.
The Buxx cards work fine though. Used at WM and ATM.
Last week, I replaced one of the funding CC and today I found that loads with the new CC work. Old CC still gives the error.
Anyone rlse have this issue now or before?

Okay I figured this one out!

I had updated the street address of the billing address of the funding card (town, state, and ZIP are same), but had not updated it in Buxx. I just updated it from the Edit link at the bottom of the Add Funds page and an attempted fund immediately after that was successful.

I can't seem to load my cards today. Every time I click on the teen name to load it just reverts back to the home page. I called and they offered to do a manual load. They also said they will report the website issue. I declined the manual load and will check back later to see if this is fixed. Anyone else having issues?

Clear cache and cookies or use a new browser/incognito mode. That seemed to fix it for me. Been having issues the last 2-3 weeks.

Thanks! I did that and it worked! But what a pain! I updated my funding credit card and then had the problem again when I went to load. So I then had to use another browser. Hopefully they will fix it.

Anyone know if NW Buxx will close cards for inactivity? I have 3 NW Buxx cards all under the same SSN but different name. 2 of them were just shut down and 1 is still alive. The two that were shut down were last used in July and the alive one was last used in September.

I hope not. I haven't used mine in quite awhile.

How did they notify you?

According to several data points, the reason for the account closures are due to account inactivity and not due to MS related activity.

Do you happen to know if its due to your husbands card not being used lately or often?

He hasn't used it in awhile. I last used mine in November. I used for my aviator spend. But since someone said that Barclays could shut you down for that I stopped.

Away now but when I get I back I will load it with the other card on file.

That confirms the data points that it was closed due to inactivity. I guess its good to keep your cards active so that they see that you are using it.

Has anyone had to explain the multiple $202 charges on their Citibank credit cards? Citi just froze my card "due to unauthorized charges." What should I tell them the purpose of the charges are? I don't want them to think it's a cash advance.

Was there other charges on your card, normally citi call and/or send an email when there are fraud alerts, a lot of times they just want to confirm its you doing the charges not someone else, just call and talk to them and see whats going on.

I don't think you have to explain anything other than that you recognize those charges. I think Citibank fraud dept is just doing their job seeing multiple transactions from the same merchant and blocking it in case you were compromised.

I wonder if your question is due to this being a new CC which no matter which bank the issuer for the card they are going to be very sensitive in the beginning to these type of transactions since they do not know your spending/merchant pattern. Over time the system will recognize those transactions and not flag them.
