According to the wiki, loading online with a prepaid card will appear to work at first, but won't actually work and may wind up in getting your account closed.
In-store (Family Dollar), I've loaded with Vanilla Visa, I've loaded with non-vanilla MC, but got denied when I tried a vanilla MC. But that same card also got denied at the grocery store where vanilla MC has worked before, so I suspect it may have just been the magstripe on that particular card.

Everything we do with Serve will get our accounts closed :)

Heads up: Serve looks like they have instituted a check on bank accounts used to withdraw. I tried to add in my bank account to a new Serve account for me and P2 for a rinse and repeat using the same account as I used last month and got a popup that the account number was already in the system. I tried another bank account I last used in January and that went through. In any event, do some advance planning for how you are actually going to get cash out if you've been pushing each new account to the same bank account.

Noob Serve churner here. I should be soon receiving my first Serve cards and I'd like to make sure my though process is good.

Somewhere I was reading that Serve is best for reloads at DG and FD also Walmart may work as well.
I plan to load up serve green for two months and close the account before second statement closes. I heard this can prevent premature account shutdown.

Which visa gift cards can I easily load at DG, FD and Walmart? Does any issuing bank Visa card work fine?
I plan to start off with loading Serve Green once per visit at $500. Does DG, FD and Walmart typically let you load to $1500? I read that most may allow up to 4 swipes.

Also getting the error message. Trying to add the bank to bb #5 . BB 1 and 2 are closed, 3 and 4 are active with bank account attached. I also have the bank account attached to serve #3 and 4 that are active. Serve # 1 and 2 had the same account but were recently closed.

Best practice is to always delink the bank accounts and debit cards before closing.

BTW, do you guys recommend closing a OneVIP Serve to avoid shutdown? This is my last OneVIP and I wouldn't be able to get it again.

Anybody else have a withdrawal to bank account stuck in purgatory? I made a withdrawal on 8/18 and it's still showing as processing in my Serve account. Usually it shows up the next day.

I MSd in 2017 for several months (initially VGCs>MO, but then only VGCs>Serve/BB because of the convenience factor), but stopped MSing 8-9 months ago because of life stuff. I was hit by the Serve ban wave at the end of October 2017. My cards are still packed away from my latest move, but according to my spreadsheet, I should have two activated OneVIP accounts/cards; a third OneVIP account whose card I received, but never activated; and two activated BB accounts/cards. I'm still kicking myself, but do Serve cards expire if they haven't been activated? Can they be activated after you've been banned? What's the latest fad for trying to keep accounts alive? I think I used to load just under the max limit for two accounts and then withdraw everything but a small balance (for the BB, I'd withdraw everything).

I dont think the account expires but the card may have, give em a call to find out.

Did your withdrawal get completed? Is this still an issue?

Yeah, it went through fine. Just took a couple days longer than usual for some reason.
