Does anyone know which fee-free ATM works with serve? Tried 7-Eleven and atm says invalid card. tried Wells Fargo same issue. tried Boa, and was able to withdraw 300 with a 3$ fee. tried at a different boa and kept giving me an error. Any DP would be helpful.

You can also look up moneypass ATM locator and those should be in-network and without fees.
I've had ATMs on the map and when I go to it... charge me a fee afterwards and have to call to reverse. On the opposite side.. Bank/CU X may have a bunch on the map near you, but you know Bank/CU X has a ATM not on the map. That ATM still works but may not be on the MP app. In my instance, a CU is all over the map but the one ATM within walking distance from my home is not.. I use that ATM with no issue |
got the green serve card a few weeks ago and just started using it and noticed it's a VISA instead of AMEX. When I log in there is no option to send money to another bank. The option is there on my green AMEX serve card.

Only loaded $1500 this month (out of $5000) but loads of $1000 and $500 both failed with the message over monthly limit. Have I maxed out for the year?

No previous MS activity You need to review everything you might have done in the past with any Amex product, because Amex has the memory of an elephant. If you did them bad in the past, they will haunt you about it forever  If not, your SS# may have been hacked and used and is now compromised. Unfortunately, there is no good way of contacting AmEx to get this resolved, sadly :( |

Lots of DPs in this thread of people claiming no prior experience with Amex being denied Serve.

Not sure what I could have done - they approved me for a checking account just over the weekend. Is it still realistic to get a Bluebird card? I read those are connected and one blocks the other?
Let's hope this does not reduce my chances of getting Amex credit cars in the future. I am just wondering, are you in a state that does not allow AmEx to charge you a monthly fee (I presume you applied for the Green Card)? If you are, I wonder if AmEx is now just denying anyone from those states cards because it denies them monthly revenue? |

As I posted, looking back on this thread alone, there seems to be numerous DPs where people without any prior activity with AmEx were denied.

Here's a counter-dp. I am on Amex's blacklist from a bankruptcy 13 years ago. I cannot get a single CC from them. However, I was approved for the Amex Serve with no issues
But nice to see they don't hold your prior credit history against you ;) |
Question about bill pay
I want to make use of bill pay in such a way that the last payment I make for my car and home insurance is paid through my serve card's bill pay option. Both my car and home are insured through GEICO.
What I want to do is make most of my payment via my credit card, but a very large overpayment via serve billpay. Essentially I am expecting GEICO to cut me a check back for the overpayment. Anyone have any experience in this and how it has worked out for them? Will billpay go out as a check? |
