Still not working for me. Tried multiple times this month including today.

It worked for one day earlier in the month.

Lots of reasons for a load to fail at FD, the vgc being a Vanilla is not one of them.

Have you thought about trying to load a lesser amount with that card, say $200 in a single swipe. If that doesn't work, I would try a small purchase as a debit, not credit at the same store to see if debit purchases are being blocked. To be sure, you should try and make a credit purchase. If that succeeds, then you know where the problem lies.
If a debit purchase fails, then that particular FD is blocking debit charges on your VGC. :(

I have used the cards at various places both debit and credit and all have gone through. I have not tried at FD. I will try both the lesser amount in a swipe and buying something there on debit.

So all you have to do is make a debit purchase of a candy bar at that FD. If that fails, then you have your answer (as long as buying the candy went through as a credit purchase!)

Bought both flavors of Serve and both times I got this lovely message. Even more insulting, the Amex version charged me the 7.95 fee already for something I cant use.

Any ideas why I got denied? I prob had a serve years ago but dont think it got shut down. I also use Google Voice as a phone number.

Now I gotta figure out a way to cash these things out and call and get my 7.95

Were you banned by Amex in the past? This would include Bluebird bans as well as any other Amex CC's ?
It appears that the answer must be a yes since you are on Amex's naughty list.
Sadly, your card purchase money is gone and for just about everyone, the ban appears to be lifetime (no limit seems to have been reached to date).:(

If you have not been banned in the past, I would make a phone call, although multiple DPs seem to indicate that these are fruitless. However, if you were the victim of identity theft, I would escalate as much as possible with Amex (may have to go to Corporate, not BB or Serve).

Yeah no previous bans. What a stupid product if no one can get approved for it.

ATM withdrawals limited
 

So I reported a while back where I was getting limited to $80 transactions. Previously I had no trouble removing $400 in one single transaction.
Im just getting frustrated with this because Serve customer support is just not being helpful. They keep telling me to try later (after 30 minutes). Does anyone have any clue what is going on? Anyone else getting issues withdrawing more than $80 at at time ? I can only perform 5 transactions of $80 before I get timed out of being able to withdraw any more.
Super frustrating that serve customer can't tell me anything at all.

Have you tried another ATM operator? Might be on the operator side.

The $80 limit is not ATM operator related. I've tried several ATMs and can assure you I can't withdraw amounts greater than $80 where I previously could. I've withdrawn $400 in one shot at the same ATMs before.
I have not tried other ATM operators after being limited to the 5 transaction at that particular operators ATM, but I can probably try that today.

I never knew a Visa version existed. Is this similar to the BB Visa that functions as an actual bank account?
