Thread necro

If I read correctly, DE and GE cards work at SWM, and I see one post of a DE working at Costco. Any updates to this?

Also, has anyone tried Sam's Club?

I have around 5K stuck in SEVGC. Going to be PITA liquidating these now.

Have you not tried WM? Liquidated all my SEVGCs there.

So, basically, everything works at Walmart Supercenters.

Nice.

Super Centers and NM.

I've been liquidating Style/Dining Everywhere at NM locations.

I find the NM customer service desk people on average to be friendlier than those at the Super Center.

Also my locations will let you load $200 onto prepaids at regular cashier, don't have to go to CS.
But the CS desk at my locations are usually idle in the mornings, so I go there anyhow.

YMMV.

Some questions / confirmations:

1.) Do all "everywhere" cards work the same? I mean, is there really a difference? I ask, because Walmart seems to take all gas, style, and grocery according to earlier posts. Am I correct that Walmart does that?

2.) Barring that all "everywhere" cards work the same, would the "grocery card" work at Family Dollar?

1. MOST WM does but what matters to you is IF YOUR WM allows you to drain them. IOW, as always YMMV.

2. FD rejects most of these DCs but you can always try YOUR FD.

I have to emphasize YMMV in MS because while it works perfectly at my stores, others may not make it work at their stores. Best to do your own legwork before you buy several thousands of VGCs, only to find out you can't drain them where you're at.

I was able to use all 3 of DE/GE/SE cards at Walmart to buy MO.

How can I liquidate a Movies Everywhere card?

Transactions were declined at grocery store (Safeway) ebay fees, AMC website (gift card purchase) Fandango website (gift card purchase).

The snark isn't really needed Hamokmonky.

I thought it was funny....

But then again, I am someone who likes to do a little research and understand liquidation methods before jumping in.

I hope this was a (not too) painful lesson for the OP that bought a variable card that they don't know how to use or liquidate and that they will reconsider this as a 'hobby' in the future.

Had they done even a cursory search of this thread before purchasing they would have realized that card is essentially useless unless you were planning on going to the movies a lot.

This forum is for sharing information and resources, but not spoon feeding to the masses. If you can't be expected to even read (and comprehend) the relevant information pertaining to your chosen MS method then SHAME ON YOU! We are a helpful bunch, but only to those that help themselves.

It wasn't snark. That's literally the only way to use these cards. There is no way to use these cards related to MS is what I mean by that statement.
