Extremely ticked with OV

I use OV to manufacture spend. Not a lot ,but a regular thing. For the first time, I get an odd message on the machine as I attempt to get my MO. Okay, I think maybe a glitch. Two more attempte=same message. Oh boy. So after a somewhat longish hold , a get a ticket number and send off my pics of the info .I mean, one in probably 100 isn't too bad but a real annoyance. Anyone had this issue? Basically, I cannot get my balance online or use the $500 balance on my OV prepaid debit. Shall I dispute the charge? It was on my Amex and they rock in that area.Ideas?

Call OV first. They have good CSRs in the US. The two times I have had activation issues, they were able to help sort out the problem with no losses. They will ask you to send in a scan of the receipt that shows you purchased the card you are calling about.

Crap. I read "tickled with OV" and I was half expecting you to say you got one to work at WM. Or at the very least, you found they were ringing up fee free somewhere.

Call Incomm like deth said. They are pretty good.

at a lot of grocery stores, YES but not at WM.

my grocery store allows up to $3K with 6 $500 swiped at a time plus the fee in cash. Vanillas from drugstores are easy to drain at grocery stores although it's YMMV depending where you are.

What store is that? Is it chain wide or just a couple that you narrowed down to be friendly?

it's one of the independent grocery stores in my town that has remained friendly to buying of VGCs with CC and MO with DC. some of its branches in other towns have become strict so I'm careful with three that hasn't caught the unfriendly bug. Its only the vanillas from drugstores and office stores that I use to buy MOs there, never the VGCs I bought from them.

Was going to ask the same thing. I recently got hit by 2 vanilla cards that the packaging was switched, and the card did not match the packaging. OV took care of it but it was a pain. I have also had activation issues these past couple of weeks, and it sounds like Rambo has too.

Where did you get hit?

I did indeed get two lemon cards but they were from a particular register that for some reason is not activating cards.

CVS in Palm Beach Gardens / Jupiter area not far from the highway. I am told by the ladies there that there is another guy that buys there often, so I am wondering if he got hit too (and if he is the OP - which is why I asked). I was going to go back to the store and make sure there were not any more fraud cards there but I was on my way to the airport and out of time. By the time I got back there were several cards missing, so hopefully none that were purchased were tampered with.

unactivated or tampered? If the expiration date does not match the packaging it could be tampered with. If just unactivated then that's less of a concern. It might be hard to tell they are tampered with, the ones I got were VERY good. No extra or different glue, just a few marks on the inside where they had torn out some glue and tried to make it look like that's the way it was supposed to be. Nothing on the outside of the package to indicate it either.
