How do you liquidate the funds in amex GCs?
Is it through AFT or purchases? |
Thank you all for the responses. I will do the following - Disable Adblockplus, change the browser and clear the cookies. Thank you for the awesome guidance and assistance here.
Hat tip to : IGLFLY, farwest101, Lappie, Silver6054, membersince2013 and others :) |
Thanks, I have used Vanilla+bluebird and after that stopped, now AFT. I am just trying to understand the popular methods folks are using now. If my understanding is right, does it work like this Cost for 6K MS: Amex Fee: $7.90 Amex Shipping: $8.95 AFT Loading 3*6 : $18.00 AFT ATM Fee (assuming costco 15*1.25) : $18.75 AFT ATM Withdrawal Fee 3*15 : $45.00 Total cost: $98.60 Cashback at 1.5% : $90.00 Final cost: $8.60 (might be little less as first atm withdrawal is free per month) |
Sign up for the shipping plan to spread out the costs over the year across all your orders.

Since you would be spending over 100$ a year with shipping, you would break even by purchasing the premium shipping plan for 99$ and woudl give you unlimited overnight deliveries. This is especially valuable when placing multiple orders a month like many of us do. |

Cautiously optimistic that they're improving turnaround time for orders. Today I had my fastest order to shipment time since cash back resumed on New Years. Ordered at 12:30am and received a shipment notification at 3:08pm. Until today my last 7 or 8 orders have all taken at least 24 hours to even be approved.

What's the 14-day limit?
I thought the 14-day limit was $5k for Personal. On the BeFrugal site it says $10k (and $50k for Business).
Anybody know what the actual 14-day limit is? |
10K is the limit on personal cards. It is also listed on AGC website.

Oooh, I feel the burn. To my defense, this was just updated in December.
