Sounds like, the answer turns outs to be: checks.

Hmm... My question was about loading, not unloading.

Supposedly debit card loads now work at $500 a clip, if you can find a fee-free one that's worth it.

They killed off UFB Direct. There's now a 3% fee to load from it, at least for me.

Looks like the Doc might actually be taking credit for scratching this one:

From the wiki: "A friend of a user has been told that there is a lifetime limit of 6 debit cards linked to an account and 20 attempts of linking debit cards to an account (counting both successful and unsuccessful linkages). If you have reached the limit, there is no way to resolve the issue."

Anyone run into this limit and then cancelled and applied for a new card?

Chime shut me down a couple of weeks ago. I really miss it. It was my favorite product to load and offload without ever leaving home. It completed a circle that is now broken.

What did you load with?

If I may ask: what card(s) did you load with? Just got this new Chime card and the day before it arrived in the mail there came the news that NW Buxx also started to incur the 3% loading fee. DOA for me...

What kind of card do they send you after filing a claim for a lost or stolen MC gc? And how come it can be loaded for free, isn't almost everything 3%?

I received a $200 card from MasterCard in the mail, after filing a complaint a few months back. The gc I purchased was stolen. So the $200 card I received in the mail looked more like a debit card, it had my name on it and it only said gift card in the back.

.....But I wasn’t charged anything. Free loading.

I had been using US Bank Buxx to offload. I believe its a fee now, they closed my account, without warning, at the same time people started posting about it.
It was such an easy 10k miles per month without ever leaving home.
