It's not $1500 a day (3*500). It's $2000 which is 3*500 plus a 476 of whatever maxed out to $2k. Your fees will increase a little but likely still overall better to max out the $2k.

i liked it better when there was a thread just for when kroger runs their coupons on the purchase of VGC's instead of this catch-all "Master Thread".
now, every time this never ending discussion on limits bumps the thread, i have to click to see if someone posted a new coupon deal i missed. i'm guessing i'm not the only one. |

Cash only
The manager at the ralphs that has always been my goto store brought out a memo stating cash only. I didn't get a chance to read it myself but I was not allowed to buy any visa gc. Terrible day.

Went to two Ralphs today. One told me cash only for everything and brought out a pink memo. The other said cash only for more than $2000. She let me buy $2,000 in GC value even though the total with fees exceeded that.

I made it to a different ralphs and after much discussion about the "change" they interpreted it as $2000 or less is ok with credit card and over 2k is cash only. I would guess they are correct and the other store(s) are mis-interpreting the memo since the cash register allowed it. Keeping my fingers crossed.
