Instead of buying 2 at willing cashiers, why not buy 10? There, I saved you 4 trips.

There are probably 50 CVS within a 20 mike radius here and everyone that I have been able to buy the My Cash with CC is only successful about 2 out of 5 tries and it is solely dependant on the cashier. Makes for too many dam trips to get 2 of them.

If any one out there has a tip on a good one in the So Cal area for My Cash cards a PM would be much appreciated.

What do you mean by "successful 2 out of 5 tries"? You mean only 2 out of 5 cashiers will let you buy PP Cash cards with CC? Have you asked the cashier to just try it?

Just a thought, maybe buying 10 will turn those into Unwilling cashiers?

What I mean is, out of 10 or so CVS I have tried in the area only 2 will even allow it on CC and at those 2 I have been shot down by 3 out of 5 cashiers. So at the same store where some cashiers will allow it, the others immediately say cash only.

I'll have to see if I can learn when those particular cashiers are there.

That's a good way to kill it for the rest of us. No wonder why MS has gotten much more difficult than before.

I thought PP cards were part of the big CVS prepaid shutdown a few months back? Does it actually vary by store, and doesn't get auto-rejected by the POS?

They were on the list, and the cards are issued by Incomm; but it seems that they are not hard-coded cash-only in the registers.

Therefore, it appears to be up to the store/cashier as to whether you can buy with a credit card.

I was auto-rejected by manager today :) In otherwise rather good store. Cashier was hesitant to ring so asked for manager. Manager said - policy...
Waisted 10 minutes of my life. The store was on my route.

Tried loading with PayPal MyCash card after 12:00am EST today (September 1) but still showing monthly limit at $0. Entered card number just to see what would happen and got message to try again October 1. Anybody else seeing their monthly limit not reset?

Like I said before, the daily limit reset at 12:00 EST, but the month limit reset at 3:00 EST.

Maybe you should put that info in the wiki so you don't have to keep repeating yourself. Thanks for the info.

Edit: Added this info to the wiki, I didn't realize I could edit it.

Help needed for transaction investigation by Paypal!

Load one paypal account with several Paypal Cash cards, and then sent the funds to 3 other family members. Now account was frozen and was asked to provide the details of each transaction. A lot of information was requested as shown below. These payments were sent out as to Family and Friends. How should I respond to these investigations?
1) Should I simply explain that all these transactions are for Family member and Friends?
2) All these accounts have the same address, will this trigger even more investigation on other recipient accounts?

Many thanks for any advice!

Were you doing this to increase the amount you can load using MyCash cards? Did those accounts all maxed their monthly load?

If you have reasons to send money, such as paying back expenses and stuff, then tell that to PayPal.

Wow thx for the great tip! I didn't max out for our 3 PP accts this month, so nice to get an extra load in before 3am EST. Glad I had a few ready waiting to be loaded in the new month.
