So, a bit over 2900 Hilton Honors points, and a 9% discount. I think these are gift card mall, so should be "servable." I am also making diamond status on this buy.....also like using these at Target for some reason......

Pay attention to this one, middle of the country folks......

Then it doesn't matter. They could be giving away completely free money and it wouldn't be worth it for me to get out there .

Much more lucrative opportunities, such as the $10 1600 microsoft points at target today.....
bought 6x $100 gift cards at $85 each plus fees today. Happy black friday! ^

Sums up how I feel here in a smaller market, miss out on most deals other than OD and CVS. Also hard to get mileage runs from a regional airport. I scored quite a few GC at HiV though.

Hello midwesterners (whatever your definition of midwest)

Midwest is anywhere I fly over from BOS to LAX or whatever other west coast destination I'm flying to . For me, even NYC is flyover country! Four of my next five trips are all to places that would fall under almost any defintion of the Midwest (STL/3 trips to Kansas) so I think I do actually know my Midwest. You can ignore my first comment as purely in jest .

I missed out on OD, only one OD anywhere nearby and it never had any, and I didn't have Ink until recently. I was the first one to find out 100% confirmed that the OD/VR game was over, on my first visit to an OD with my Ink card. So I never had a chance at it! At least I did get 5x on my printer purchase that day, and actually got a decent printer .

My market is so small that I swear I was the only one in town in on the OD game, there were always many beans in the field and the harvest was rich.

And I'm so far west in midwest that Iowa is east to me.

Learning more everyday here...frequent reader, but only recent member and am glad I was able to give a tip so early on in my career. It's still Friday, and HiV is only 4 blocks away....hm

The entire store is still 5x at least if holding Ink. It just isn't as lucrative anymore (while many of us have plenty more tricks up the sleeve, OD/VR 5x was one of the best in anyone's arsenal). There really are a limitless amount of ways to play this game, but the margins are so small for so many things. Even the margins on OD/VR were low unless someone had ready access to a well stocked OD.

A friend of mine went to a seedy little town in the Dominican Republic called Sosua and got HIV. It is something you catch where prostitution is legal and many skanky girls walk the streets with disease. They even don't flush the used toilet paper there instead they put the smelly germ ridden used feces paper in the trash can next to the toilet. How is that for a definition of HIV
