It means just that. As of a week ago, when I last used AP, I was NOT getting such a message. However, given that I do not expect this deal to last forever, especially since they're asking for SSN, and I've not given it, and yet AP still works (well beyond the date they threatened it would no longer work), I would not be surprised if things could be vastly different from one day to the next, let alone one week to the next. Thus, my qualification 'as of a week ago'.

No I didn't answer my own question with my comment..If you read my comment intelligently, you could answer it intelligently...but you didnt. There are threads in other blogs that indicate using the same cc for multiple accounts doesn't affect anything....There was another trigger....

sorry if this has already been answered, but how much can I send per year to my roommate without getting dinged w taxes or getting in trouble w amazon? what would you recommend as a maximum payment?

Numbers being thrown around are $20,000 AND 200 transactions. But that is just what the IRS wording says, not sure anybody has ever gotten anything. Given that you can only send $12,000 per year total (with their $1,000 per month limit), nobody should really cross that threshold.

I accidentily sent money to the wrong account and had to cancel the transaction. However, it seems that the transaction is still counting towards the max amount i can pay from a credit card. Any ideas?

Just to be more careful next time. I highly doubt you're going to get that credit back from Amazon.

Same CC's for multiple accounts isn't the trigger. At least not yet. Any idea what the trigger is?
