No piece limit for check in luggage on MH
Just found the following on MH website, not sure if someone else has posted already:
Checked Baggage
Malaysia Airlines will be introducing the new baggage allowance policy below from 1 May 2017, which will see our guests benefitting from unlimited pieces of check-in baggage on all cabin class. Our generous free baggage allowance remains unchanged.
The revised policy applies to all tickets regardless of date of issuance.

The Frequent flyer allowance starts with a weird first bullet:
- oneworld Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby members: 2 piece baggage limitation applies

That means its 30kg for economy, 40kg for Business and 50kg for First Class plus whatever elite status allows extra.
It used to be a maximum of 2 pieces for whatever weight you are allowed in your class of travel. But now I guess you can add on as many pieces as you wish but as long as you stay within your weight limit.

I am not sure where I should ask this question, but when CX interline my luggage to MH, which size limit apply?
I will be flying HKG-KUL with CX J and then KUL-SYD with MH J, separate ticket. CX luggage size limit is 203cm, MH 158cm. One of my big box will be around 190cm, would CX be able to tag through my luggage to MH?

I did call them this morning but didn't get anything coherent. This is LHR-KUL-SYD and back.
I would be very grateful for any feedback.
