Wow, I know Hong Kong is an efficient airport, but isn’t an hour for checking in all passengers still pushing it, even for 160pax?
Perhaps they are expecting a good number to checkin at the city counters? Can’t be that many people travelling hand-carry only between HKG & KUL / onward?

Just to add to the amateurish service on the A330. Hard to believe MH cant get best global talent rather than rely on a very limited local pool. Also only 3 counters at HKG manned by uninterested airport staff.

Btw, airport check in opens 30mins prior to the listed times for 'premium passengers' (biz/oneworld emerald/sapphire)

The agents appeared only about 5 minutes before the listed time & checkin started at the times stated, there wasnt any premium pax earlier checkin option for the A330.
