Ditto!

Re Wakaya and one dive per stay - I'd highly doubt that is reality and bet you'd get a least one dive per person per day, if not two. It's been a few years since I was there and I have a good TA who's also a diver but diving on a daily basis is typical there.

lb8001, they changed what it says on their website this year

nov 17 2014 "two scuba tank dives per person per day"
apr 2 2015 "one scuba tank dive per person per stay"

dated 03 04 15 says same thing >
http://dkssymg8pwa3q.cloudfront.net/..._030415_lo.pdf
mentions pelagics

dated 03 03 15 says same thing >
http://dkssymg8pwa3q.cloudfront.net/..._030315_lo.pdf
http://dkssymg8pwa3q.cloudfront.net/..._030315_lo.pdf

so there must be a reason behind that change
they also did rate increase, i think first in long time

anyone heard what wakaya charges for Sega Na Leqa villa ?

edit - my posts address rate inclusions >
"nightly rates...include" (how wakaya words)
(as in - complimentary / at no additional cost)
was not addressing paid diving at wakaya etc

Kage, my comment just meant that what it says on the Wakaya website and what you could actually arrange could be different things.

at $5K+ per night, how often do virtuoso/etc agents split commission with client?
I ended up booking this with David O's company for April, 2016. I don't think it's fair to talk publicly about prices, but I'll say it was more than fair and worth going to him if you were thinking about going. Between now and North we're staying at Iniala, which has a similar concept of no menus, so it will be an interesting comparison.

Once again, thanks to everyone for their views, especially Larkin.

What's interesting about it? It's not in anyone's best interest to publicly post specifics about that type of negotiation.
