It appears that a 2nd FS property in NYC was announced today with FS managing the hotel and condo residences. It is to be located downtown at 99 Church Street, on the site of the (former) Moody's Building, which is to be demolished to make way for an 80 storey building of which the first 22 floors will be the hotel comprising of 175 rooms and suites.
Projected opening appears to be 2011 or 2012.

im sure the condos will be fantastic, so i cant imagine theyll allow short term rentals.
the designer also did Fifteen Central Park West.
interesting the number of rooms/condos is about in line with the total of the 2 RCs.
175 rooms...several suites, including one 3,700-square-foot royal suite. The residential area will include 143 luxury condominiums.

says 186 rooms now.
"Foundation work for the new tower commenced in June 2008, with a top-out planned for early 2010. Completion is scheduled for early 2011."

Silverstein concedes that 99 Church Street is on hold
3/18/2009
Silverstein indicated that his plans to build the city’s tallest residential building at 99 Church Street, complete with a Four Seasons hotel in its base, had been paralyzed by continued dysfunction in the debt markets, which have cut off cash for development projects whose risk has been heightened by a faltering economy.
“Is this going forward? Can’t do it without financing,” Silverstein said. “Is financing available today? Not easily. Will financing be available? One of these days the world’s going to come back together again and financing will be available and we’ll build this edifice. It’s going to be stunning, it’s going to be spectacular. It’s going to be the finest damn hotel in all of Manhattan.”
