Any one been there recently and know if renovations are going on there now?

Also, which site do you recommend for the best rates in early October? LHW seems pretty good.

Thanks!

Virtuoso offers a guaranteed one category upgrade for a 3 night stay (on arrival if available for other bookings) and complimentary full breakfast daily.

Rates are $215 for a superior, $230 for a deluxe, $260 for an executive suite, $290 for a deluxe suite, and $370 for a garden suite. The sweet point is at $230 ... you get upgraded to a suite.

No renovation right now. I am there almost every 2 weeks and am pretty sure there is nothing going on now. Stay there due to location and can't say i am a big fan of the service. It has gone downhill quite a bit in recent years.

Been there a month ago. Renovations where going on but were quiet. Booked a deluxe studio through Virtuoso (and LHW) and got upgraded to deluxe terrace suite in the separate building. Just a small problem with the currency exchange for the hotel rates ($ instead to THB) but they are switching the system.
