RC Chicago Dining Room to close

The RC Chicago's, A Four Seasons Hotel, venerable Dining Room is closing on New Year's Day after a final dinner bash on NYE. The restaurant will be converted into Banquet space.

Too bad. It was full last time I was there for dinner. Sunday brunch was always packed too. Apparently like airlines, seat occupancy does not drive profit. It's a very nice room.

I wonder if this closing is a harbinger of things to come? Isn't the RC Chicago still for sale?
